Some time ago I was praying and dozed off. During this brief moment a vision or dream came to me. I was in a church and the building was old, in that, it looked abandoned. The Pastor of the church, however, was still hosting meetings. While I was sitting in the building a lot of men were there and notably a 99 year old man. My attention quickly shifted from the old building and old man to a young lady who was wearing a white dress. She happened to pass me by and as I took notice of her I became aware of her faithfulness to the church. Around that time she was preoccupied performing an attendant or usher’s task of packing away bibles and such the like. Her appearance about this time became the most important thing about her to me. On one side of her face looked scared like she was involved in an accident and pimpled, however, the other side looked smooth and clean kept. She walked by me and as soon as she passed but was still near enough I said to myself that I’m going to fix her up; also, the dress she was wearing looked so tattered that it was apparent the she was in need of clothes. It was at this time that I was awaken from the dream hearing the voice of the lord saying to me “there goes the other business which your Apostle told you about:”
Take Care of Foster and Homeless Girls;
-
they who don’t have clothes to clothe them
-
to teach them about modesty and their purpose in life-that God has more for them then where they are
-
they don’t need to settle
-
they can arise out of the ashes to beauty
-
And discover who they are in God
Looking ages 13-25. I was meditating on my present status and how many years I exclaimed to the Lord, “Lord you know best.” And he said Beauty for Ashes. There were other names I was thinking about but that one resonated when I hear it.
It is now my pleasure to introduce you to this worthwhile initiative. Our daunting task of accomplishing our mission will not be possible without you. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our foundation.
